Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda suggested this concept and N L Narendra Babu (Cong) said Government will take an action and will implement this facility soon. Babu sought to tell the highlight of the important of this Social Security Pension Online system says that, woman who had lost her husband 15 years ago and to get getting social security pensions running from pillar to post the request.
During 2011-12 year Karnataka Government official took long time for physical verification of social security pensioners was undertaken and from that 8 lakh applications are duplicate. By help of this verification non-existent and ineligible pensioners found and suspended for disbursement. If the application was suspended, the candidates who are eligible had a opportunity to get a application verified again by a higher official. Such a pensions disposal of applications deadline has been fixed by Government.
In 2012-13 year budget Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that social security pension candidates age group eligibility is 65 years to 80 years pension amount will be increased from Rs.400/- to Rs.500/- from this year April month. From this scheme around 30 lakh people expected to get benefit.
