Total number of 304 students who are pursuing ITI course in various institutions received 5 lakh worth scholarships on 31st September 2012 Sunday.
Sri Vidyasagar Educational Trust chairman Iravatham Mahadevan said that, The number of students selected and awarded to this scholarship during this current year. We have able to accommodate more than 300 students from different 19 ITI institutions and have awarded this 5 lakh worth scholarship. He added in his speech that, the trustees have decided to explore other avenues to provide scholarship to disadvantaged students like orphanages, physically or mentally challenged and trained in special institutions.
This Scholarship is enabled (open) to the students who pursuing engineering or vocational courses in recognized institutes in chennai, Kanchipura, and Tiruvallur districts.
