NIT MCA Common Entrance Test 2011 is also known as NIMCET2011 and its conducted on 15th May 2011 (Sunday). Its organized jointly by 11 NIT’s and this entrance exam is conducted by MANIT Bopal. The NIT MCA entrance exam is for admission to the 3-year full time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme. The MCA programme offered by NIT’s and is located at various places Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. To get Admission to the MCA Programme candidates will take the NIT MCA common entrance test.
The question paper contains following sections with marks. Mathematics (45 questions), Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning(40 questions), Computer Awareness(10 questions), General English subjects(25 questions).
The admission to the MCA is fully based on the rank obtained in the NIMCET 2011 only. This entrance test will be conducted for 2 hours with objective questions. The questions will come from the Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English subjects. The entrance examination is conducted on Sunday 15th May 2011 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM.
