This article is about Madhya Pradesh Private Colleges/ Universities Scholarships to girl students. Private colleges and universities of Madhya Pradesh now give scholarship to deserving girl students based on instructions which came from higher education department. Earlier Gaav ki Beti scheme existed only in government colleges of the MP state and now it will be implemented in all private and government aided and universities. Girls students who are studying in Private colleges can get this Scholarship.
Earlier girl students of government colleges only eligible for the scholarship scheme and from 2012-13 all institutes (Private Colleges/ Universities) eligible to get this Scholarship. Girl student who scored 60% and above in their 12th board exam and got admission to any state college are eligible for this Scholarships. Selected candidates will get Rs.5000/- per month, for the Students who’s residence is beyond the five km radius of the college. Also students should have good attendance record and not failed in in any of the examinations. Only those candidates are eligible to get this deserving girl students scholarship.
